I am a mother of three intelligent boys and to the many children in the Baltimore community. I am holding an A.A. in Humanities and Social Science as a first-generation graduate. I am currently attending Morgan State University, completing a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Teaching. I would describe myself as an intelligent, introspective, curious, wise, and motivational leader. As a mother in recovery, I bring knowledge of how addiction can ruin an individual chance to succeed. But I also bring hope that recovery is possible. A former child that was stripped from a public education I am the voice of for the un-schooled and the voice for children who feel unloved. I know if we work with our children in the neighborhood, we can change the trajectory of their lives through B.E.A.C.H. Life.
